WHY I MADE THIS FILM

I spent 6 years making this film with the blessing of Ira and her family and friends. I wanted to tell her true story for the first time and to reveal a secret world and life rarely seen on film.

Also, the main purpose of the film was to readdress the fake news that appeared in the press and on TV around the ‘incident’ that changed Ira’s life forever.

The movie premiered in London, Amsterdam and won the Best Feature Film Award at the 2019 London Fetish Film Festival.

It has also gained many 5-star reviews online and has an international cult following.

This film is dedicated to the memory of my father who passed away on its initial release in 2017 and who inspired me to be a filmmaker from childhood.

Ira wishes to thank everyone who helped create the film and for those who have supported her throughout the years.

Ira (Ex-Dominatrix) was Born in Belgium in Sint-Niklaas during the swinging sixties.

One of three children she was always creative, curious and committed herself to any activity she loved 100%. She excelled at school, college, sports, business and loved to be the center of attention.

Furiously independent she married young and gave birth to Charlotte her only child to date.

Mother and daughter are inseparable and their bond and is a unique connection and a key part of the films overall story.

Ira’s boundless creativity, looks and style led her to become the most famous and successful dominatrix in Europe and she lived this life for 12 years.

Until one fateful day in 2010, when her life was changed forever in ways, she could never have imagined.

Their Shelter provides a home for injured cows, goats, pigs, chickens, you name it! Here they receive medical treatment, healthy food and a home to recuperate. WAG’s Rescue Clinic houses inpatient dogs and cats. Strays who have faced the harshest lives on the street finally have a place to rest and heal.
