The Very Creativegan directed, produced and edited this 7 min promo for vegan client Crazy-bean.com to attract more vendors and customers to the exciting new vegan online marketplace. The client and founder of the Crazy-bean.com were involved in the creative conception and is the main focus of the video. She clearly and concisely expresses her expert views on the vegan marketplace, shares her personal story on how and why the business was created and highlights the benefits the online marketplace will give to vendors and customers.
The video formed part of the overall campaign which included Facebook ad and social media management.

GLADIATOR BLU-RAY TRAILER

Whenever a new format in home entertainment becomes the latest HD craze (currently it's 4k). It allows the studios and distributors to dust off its catalogue of films and re-releases it all again in shiny new packaging, with extras galore and new marketing creative.
This is a great scenario for creative agencies as we get to relive and revive some of our favourite movies and create new content that has a new vibe and energy from the previous marketing content.
We created the original AV campaign for the first DVD release of Gladiator for Universal Pictures International, so it was a thrill to go back with the HD version of the film and produce the ultimate trailer showcasing its awesomeness in picture and sound.
A huge catalogue title for Universal and one of it's most successful Blu-ray releases to date.

TANGLED - 30" TV AD

Disney animation had not had a domestic No.1 animation film since 'Beauty and Beast' and it took them taking inspiration from Pixar to deliver their first bonafide critical and financial No.1 box office smash hit with, 'Tangled'.
There was a lot of pressure riding on the film's being a success with audiences so we worked especially hard to create a TV and Radio campaign that was dynamic, original and funny.
Disney was thrilled because the film went on to gross over £25 million in the UK, creating a new style and love of their golden era while paving a new way separate from Pixar that would result in mega hits such as 'Frozen', 'Wreck it Ralph and 'Big Hero 6'.

INSIDIOUS CINEMA TRAILER & TV AD

Insidious was a horror film that really caught the imagination of cinema-goers worldwide. So much so we set up infrared cameras at preview screenings to capture the audience's terrified reactions during and after the film to include in the UK TV campaign.
Part Poltergeist and part Exorcise it went on to spawn two sequels and took over £10 million in the UK for Momentum Pictures.

THE BLUE BROTHERS - 90" BLU-RAY TRAILER

The Blue Brothers is a classic. It's a stone cold mission-from-God fact! Surprisingly it took Universal a long time to be able to release it on Blu-ray.
And, considering the 'Blu'-ray marketing angle for the film they wanted to do it justice. We were asked to create a completely new full-length trailer and tv spots for international usage highlighting the HD quality, classic comedy and musical numbers in the film.
It was a thrill to put this creative together from one of my own personal favourite films and add in some of the more unique moments.
It was a huge hit in sales for Universal and continues to be one of their top catalogue titles.

What a delight to create the cinema trailer, TV and radio campaign for the coming of age story of a young Jane Austen starring Anne Hathaway, James McAvoy, Maggie Smith and Judi Dench. This film took over £10 million at the UK box office.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND - 30" TV AD

Disney's dark CGI version of Alice In Wonderland - starring Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, - shot to the top of the British box office to beat Avatar’s record for a UK 3D opening by 26 per cent.
It went on to smash £55 million in the UK and is still Tim Burton's biggest film of his career.

BOLT - 30" TV SPOT

Disney's family comedy smash hit 'Bolt' was it's first CGI venture away from Pixar. It's success helped pave the way for the even bigger box office hits 'Frozen', 'Big Hero 6' and 'Wreck it, Ralph'.
We had so much fun playing up the comedy between the deranged gerbil in a plastic ball and Bolt voiced by John Travolta. The film took over £20 million at the UK box office.

KILL BILL VOL I & II - 20" & 30" TV ADS

Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Vol I & II were two of the most exciting and challenging films to have created the TV and radio campaign for two reasons.
No-one had seen movies like this before so nailing the style and vibe was essential. And two; we had only 4 days from brief to script, edit, approval and delivery to the TV stations before being on-air. We made it just in time without much sleep and lots of Red Bull.
The films went on to gross over £27 million at the UK box office.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY - 30" TV AD

The horror phenomenon comes home for Icon Pictures quite literally. We set up private, late-night screenings of the movie on DVD to people who hadn't seen it at the cinema. Suffice to say the genuine living room screams and scares it created boosted the sales of the DVD and Blu-ray to make it one of Icon biggest home entertainment releases.

THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM

I love doing interviews with stars for promoting campaigns it's a real buzz and works great. Matt Damon was in London doing promotional duties on The Bourne Ultimatum Home Entertainment release for Universal Pictures and we had a chance to get some great footage with him.
I'm proud of the fact I got a soundbite of Jason Bourne saying. "F&@KING ACTION-PACKED" to describe the franchise. Shame we couldn't use it in the marketing campaign though but you can see it here for the first time.
